Textbook Thoughts

I really enjoyed reading the textbook. It didn't really feel like I was reading a textbook. It felt more like a journalist's first hand knowledge of what it takes to write good stories. The book does a good job of highlighting the important things. With some textbooks I read, I feel like some of the things aren't really that important. I didn't feel that way with this book. Even though I don't want to be a journalist when I get out of school, I still feel like the things in the book can apply to my major. I need to be thorough and accurate when it comes to writing scripts, especially if some of the subject matter is based on real-life things. I honestly couldn't find anything about this book that I didn't dislike.
